Monday I was grateful for a quiet day at work, yesterday for a lovely evening with my nephews and today for my manager taking a chance on a new work idea!

Yesterday I was grateful for flexible working so I could WFH whilst QP off school unwell. Very grateful when the limpet like creature finally fell asleep and I got some peace. Today grateful for understanding line manager discouraging me from using AL to cover another QP sick day. |

Today I am grateful for a good start on an article and that I still enjoy the 'academic' stuff after slogging through thesis. Mostly I am grateful that I am now on holiday until 5th January.

Hooray HP! 16th I was grateful for a good sleep. Yesterday that Dad was told he was in remission  . Today for coffee with a friend and that Christmas is pretty much under control. |

Yes, thank you. It really is the best Christmas present there is. The doctors are very hopeful that the cancer will not come back and now it's just a question of him getting back his strength. Everything looks a lot brighter for 2015
