My old office moved and we acquired a walk in "stationary cupboard" - I don't think they got it when I cheerfully commented that the cupboard was still there and hadn't moved in the night.

I'd love to know about the effects of time on the air molecules though. I'm a bit concerned about all this old air I'm inhaling. My lungs might not cope.

The misspelling that actually brings me to a rage is "rediculous". Aaaaaargh! I've just pissed myself off by typing it!

Can we willy wave in here about how many miles our shoes have done (though I expect V'rap and eL Bee will win). 1200 from some Inov-8 F-lites. Regularly 800-1000 out of any uncushioned shoes. 750 out of a pair of £25 trail shoes recently. That's not a year though. 2-3 months! :-)G

Or defiantly as some people on my Facebok insist on. It's not even the same word. Raarr.

I can't willy wave about mileage but one of my current pairs is 6 years old. I bought a pair of shoes, intended to break them in after my next race, found out I was knocked up - shoes back in the box for a year. Did a little bit of running in them, got knowcked up again (not whilst running, obv - can't multitask that well), shoes back in storage for pregnancy and months of not managing to go running. Been using them now (alternating with some others) for 18 months.

The shoes are still going strong and I feel no need to extend their life by getting knocked up again.

Just think of that geriatric air in the cushioning.

Till as in "He waited till she got there" makes my piss fizz with rage. If you must abberviate it, do it properly. Grrr.

Anyway, I wear my running shoes for about 500-600 miles ish. I replace them when they are falling apart, have lost their squish or when I'm bored of them and want a new pretty colour.
