I vote for C: save the additional costs and spend the money on something you'll really enjoy.

It's an A from me. Don't expect a particularly fast time. If possible, travel when it's less hot, or even forget the accommodation and set out from home around 5.00 am on Sunday.

A big fat A from me, don't tell yourself already "you are slow in the heat.....I don't like the heat....I wont enjoy it". Somebody once told me to make friends with hills or you will remain enemies for a LONG time and the same applies with the rain, wind, snow and heat. :-)

Hope you go out and have an amazing time. :-)

Well after all that it wasn't even very warm at all! And what a great little route, lovely and scenic and pretty flat resulting in a new PB!

Glad I went in the end :-)
