Don't get carried away at the start and go off too fast, relax and enjoy the atmosphere ... As I was once told: You only get one first race, enjoy it, as after this it gets competitive Good luck |

From an avowed non-trier, I'd say that the swim is about conserving your energy, the bike is about conserving your energya nd the run is......well you get the idea by now, I'm sure. Good luck. Enjoy! |

Just enjoy it. That's all you have to do on the first one, you can get competitive etc on all the rest.
