Does anyone have any ideas what this could be?
Ive had the odd niggle in my left outer hip/thigh area for about 6 or more weeks now.
Havent ran much since running 19 miles 3 weeks before the london marathon 2 weeks ago.
Ran the marathon and my left hip/quad area was sore from mile 1 and got worse but i was still able to finish the marathon.
Since then for the past 2 weeks ive not ran just cross trained on exercise bike because now my left knee/quad gets a slight sharp pain if i lie down and lift my leg straight up in the air as in to stretch and if i kneel down on that knee and ive noticed its worse when i first get out of bed or get up from sitting down. Its also not right when i walk im not limping but it does feel sore.
Any ideas as it just isnt getting any better if anything its getting worse.

Salty Dog
Is it like sharp and tangly like there are nerve fibres trapped or something? Sounds like a good excuse to treat yourself to a nice sports massage ans get whatever it is properly ironed out.

:)
