Mrs MoFirst injury in years of running, three weeks into marathon training. Gutted, any idea how long I will need to rest for? I pulled my calf. Thanks C

swittleWelcome to Fetch, Mrs Mo - wish 'twas under happier circumstances. I'm no expert but you can't go wrong with resting, icing [15 min. in 2 hrs & no direct contact], a compression bandage and keeping your feet up = R.I.C.E.
Tricky blighters, calf pulls, so give it a week after you can feel no pain when walking and build up v. slowly, stretching before & after. Good luck
