[ The admittedly free hire bike I had in Adelaide for a day, the brakes were so poor it didn't make any difference. Although it was mostly pancake flat alomg the river and coast. ]

Um: I've had a sketchy moment fishtailing on a descent with a hire bike until pointed out the brakes were reversed. It would be scary whilst chasing on with a HR through the roof!

NB anything classed as a virtual ride, or assisted, or at home on a machine - are all excluded from the tables (at least, as best I can). |

Ganna didn’t do brilliantly at the World Champs TT today, but he’s going for the hour record in October. ineosgrenadiers.com A real surprise by Foss with his win today, but a great ride! I watched the last hour or so on catchup and he wasn’t really on anyone’s radar. Ganna blew up it seems, not sure why. |
