Evening All, I've seen on social media (Instagram mainly) a think called Pow Virtual running. They have different events each month and medals to match the events.... A run on May 4th gets you a Star Wars like medal. Most of them are £10 to enter and each one is for a different charity. Has anyone seen or heard of this and taken part? What are people's views on it? Thanks Churchy |

thing
20% - £2 - goes to the charity, the other £8 is so someone can send you a medal for just going for a run by yourself? That's a bit steep. I don't understand the attraction, but I'm guessing it's more for people that don't want to or can't do a regular race? |

Yes it is steep. They are obviously taking out their costs of posting, admin and buying the medals (and profiting) |
