The Fall is the movement that facilitates a change of support and transition from one Pose to the next.
In running the movement is relatively simple.
In climbing the 'fall' is that transition using gravity and levers to effect the move from one Pose to the next.
If you've ever watched a good climber moving - the transitions are seam less and look effortless - it's like a dance.
It's NOT effortless, obviously. But the difference between a climber 'muscling' a climb and flowing with it are clear to see!
The flowing climber 'falls' efficiently.
As with running, the term 'Fall' is a bit misleading........ apart when someone falls, obviously ;)

About This Thread

Maintained by cabletow
If you want to get people to watch you running - you need to video yourself using your mobile phone or digital camera. Side on, full length for a few strides, is sufficient. Use a cloud storage system as discussed here

And share the file with a coach or coaches for constructive comment, either in private or on the thread if you dare.
