Anyone in for this Sunday's fun? Weather looking reasonable, no sub zero start, bit of a head wind on the final grind back Suspect the Billy track will be nice and muddy given this week's weather

Stout fellow sir. Marathon for me. Did it in 2015 and enjoyed a local run that I can walk to the start of (via the Gosport ferry) and a few pints on the way home. Looking forward to it!

Hope your run was a cracker NID? Although I signed up for a 26.2 Marathon they turned ours into a 27 miler cos the tide was in. Super run though, perfect conditions (for December) and I got in before the rain. |

Well done Steve, I had the last mile in the drizzle, and a walk to the car in the increasing rain. Felt sorry for the later finishers crossing the bridge in the pouring rain - that looked pretty miserable. As you said, we were lucky for the time of year. The mile markers were increasingly out for me from the start, I had assumed that my garmin was measuring short, but looking at the trace we certainly added a little extra through the back alleys. |
