Suma organic jumbo oats, full fat milk / water / salt. Spoonful of golden syrup, and a spoonful of double cream to jolly things up a bit.

No blueberries because they come from Peru!

My blueberries come from the garden. Had a bumper crop this year: 2.5 kilos in the freezer while also having bowl fulls with my granola and banana pancakes all summer ☺️

Scott's standard oats, hand-squeezed goat's milk (Lucinda and Lillian, thank you kindly), fresh turmeric and ginger, pepper. Tiny bit of honey. No coconut milk as at pal's house.

Oats, Milk (Standard Semi in Porridge, Almond in Overnight Oats (and Chia Seeds)), topped with whatever fruit is available usually Blueberries, Blackberries, Strawberries, Banana (not usually all together)... and a little light honey. You can keep your fry up, this is my favourite.

Oh and as for measurements, we have a cup which one of the kids brought home from a party about 20 years ago it's perfect and holds 40g of Oats (it's got a pic of Tinkerbelle on it so it's always referred to as such), add to this a mug of milk about 300ml. and Nuke it! (Though I prefer it done in a pan).

Well porridge seems to crop up regularly so I thought it could be worth a thread.

When? How often...
