Mr. Grumpy
Doing it slowly in the microwave gives me time to do all the other stuff while it takes care of itself, and it still comes out nice and creamy!

Yum! My normal porridge, with chopped apple, grated turmeric root, coarsly ground black pepper, coconut oil, dollop of coconut milk, egg stirred through it and sweetened with a good dollop of ground cinnamon. It was delicious! Sweetly spiced yet unsweetened but for the apple and cinnamon. |

Mmm egg sounds good Hann and I like the toasted porridge idea too. I sometimes make mine v thick and leave surplus on pan with lid on and eat a cold chunk later. |

I'm tempted by the egg idea; does it thicken the porridge or just make it custardy? Whole egg, or egg yolk?
