I *think* Fetch removed the categories when he was revising the Forum search a few weeks ago. Think it was in one of his blogs.

There was discussion of the new Search function on 15 Jan 2020 (in Fetch's blog, you're right), but I can't see anything about the forum categories there.

Fetch's response to LMH in the comments on his 15th Jan blog implies that he thought the categories were pretty useless because people often used the wrong category when creating threads.

I'm sure I remember reading him going into a bit more detail on that somewhere, whether it was an earlier blog or a thread, I can't recall - if only there was a decent search we could maybe find it :-p
