Linds, you are assuming that we have a competent Government😊. Also, anything that is offered as official advice is ripped apart by the press, challenged as fake news, contradicted on social media etc, leaving people very confused as to what to believe. I don’t think other countries have a similar media to ours, good in many ways but not conducive to clear messaging sadly.

Agreed, but we are where we are. As Canute’s excellent blog suggests, we each need to do what we can.

Problem is, individual action isn’t enough. Which is where competent govt comes in. Or would if we had one.

thanks for euromomo link. It looks as if England alone is top of the world with NI, Wales and Scotland being much more average.

So it’s definitely one rule for them & one rule for all the others. Boris’s sister has been photographed at two different locations. Her home in London & her home in the West Country. I wonder if her brother will inform the police of this obvious breaking of the rules. Somehow I don’t think 💠so. |

Shows England's govt can lead the country to the top of a stat! In my observation during my runs, the people ain't helping either. There is a restlessness and just like Brexit there are opposing views. You're either in the pessimistic camp or the optimistic camp with an emerging apathy that will slowly erode any regulations. DC has already led the way for apathy, supported by the govt. So do what we can now and lead from the bottom up in our local groups. Time will tell the truth. |

I don’t think you can blame the media for highlighting indecision, ambiguity, and obfuscation.
