I currently have a pi on my 'wanted' list.

But I have enough 'boy' projects already. Anymore and I could see a divorce in my future.

I'm currently learning to code a bit of python but have it on my laptop so I don't need a pi for that.

Will watch this thread with interest tho :-)

I did a lot of work on the cpu that's inside and we have quite a lot in the house, which my oldest son has doing various things, but I'm slightly ashamed to say that I've not used ours very much.

micro:bit has been a bit delayed, I think the BBC only did the first online lesson this week.

Bit disappointed in the micro bit.
Such a shame they didn't build in a battery. A bit like these codebug.org.uk which we have.
The battery pack they sent is such a horrible afterthought.

Got a new lab space (aka an empty room) that we are filing with old kit. On the agenda for next week is a look based Beowulf cluster on an old Cisco backbone :-)

14 members of the Pi Club :-)

EvilPixie - are the PiZero's back in stock? I was lucky enough to get given one on a magazine, but every since then, they've been out of stock.

I'm looking for a good walk through of how to get the Pi to control a power socket remotely. I've seen that Energenie do these: amazon.co.uk - but I'm already using a few of the pins on my GPIO to power my temperature sensor - so ideally I'd like something that just utilises the pins it needs, rather than taking up all of them. Or am I misunderstanding somewhere?

You got the mag 😫

They were supposed to arrive this week according to Twitter comments from my friends who own pi shops.

Micro bit delivery starts 22nd March apparently
