Was just looking at the parkrun events map and clicked on our new Scottish event. And thought "hmm". So I clicked on a few more, and here's my discovery: many events do not have pictures of their own event. (My home run does.) I presume it's up to event teams to submit one, and our two most recent Scottish ones have; but for example Strathclyde (start date 10.04.10!) doesn't. Not a big deal perhaps, but certainly an odd situation.

We didn't for ages after we had started - I say ages, we've only been going a year - we had to submit some pics of the event to HQ and wait for them to put them on the page. I think, if I remember correctly that we were given a choice of 'standard' pictures ahead of the launch.

Yes, initially HQ put a default pic on the web page and it's up to the event to send in a real pic of their event - some don't do it for a long time, or ever.

I changed ours as soon as I could. It’s much nicer to have the actual event pictured.
