i arranged a holiday in north yorks for the 24 july weekend for something else, but if either redcar or flatts lane is open then bonus.

(need an 'n' for the alphabet challenge aswell. will almost certainly save it for northala for whenever the heck i'm next in london)

I think Northala was the earliest I had got to a parkrun, (home run excepted). We had a really good journey down and arrived at 08:02, (sorry, the time sticks in my mind). Walked up, around and down the nearby mounds, which ended up a great warm-up.

My view is it is absolutely fine for Parkrun to choose not to return until they can do so with no adaptations if thats what they believe is right for them

However they should not be pointing the finger of blame elsewhere for their inability to return.

I think Parkrun have missed an opportunity to adapt their model and offer this public health initiative in a way that works within the rules.

Bazoaxe - but parkrun does work within the rules. Pointless debating though as we will just keep on going round in circles. Back to Northala...

How do they manage within the numbers/households for outdoor gatherings?

Bazoaxe, if I understand it correctly those numbers don't apply to organiser outdoor sport (or Boris' BBQs)

"parkrun does work within the rules"

Junior events aside, parkrun isn't working at all, and hasn't been for well over a year.

Might be different for Scotland as I am sure we have a 500 limit which may be why there has been no real talk of a return in Scotland.

Is there definitely no number limit in England for organised sport?
