Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I'm sure been number checker a couple of times. Its the "carry a clipboard" role isn't it?

Think the idea is to get the numbers of the first finishes, and then every 4 or 5 from then on.

When I have been number checker the role has been to keep a manual record for a sample of runners.

You get the runner's time from the timekeeper and then nip back to the end of funnel and ask for their name and finish token number.

If something then goes wrong with the results, the manual record helps to reconstruct them.

Hello. Any Brueton (Solihull, near Birmingham) parkrunners here? Flying in to Brum airport on Saturday, arrive 8.15. Could I get to Brueton park by 9? If only you Engerlish had a civilised parkrun start time of 9.30 like up here in Jockland, it'd be a bit more doable! ;-)

Thanks :-) G

But there is a little bit of a walk from car park actually to start- that really is going to be pushing it by the time you get out the airport surely :)G?

Not far assuming you get out of the airport quickly but would say you'd be pushing it with faffing time added on.

Shame the ITV shutdown to encourage people to go out and run starts at 09:30.... :-(

LD, cheap and cheerful "Gold" medals made out of paper plates?
