Had quite a drama for my 100th with a presentation and a pictureboard but by 250 I no longer cared much for parkrun so ran at a random location with my daughter to avoid all fuss and drama. I enjoy attending other peoples landmarks though so strange attitude really and quite a contradiction. |

Mrs J that is fab!! I think all the different people wanting different things out of parkrun is what makes it so special 🙂 |

I enjoy celebrating other people's parkrun achievements more than my own especially knowing the commitment and difficulties some have faced to get there. At our current home event we have a noticeboard so that people can note down any milestone that day and if known in advance I make a little poster for our regulars. We were away on holiday for my 250th hoping not to get noticed but they had been tipped off by someone and I didn't get away without it being announced. A nice gesture but not one that I would have wanted. |

476 parkruns done, maybe Christmas for my 500th? My only concern is where it should be. For a very long time my home parkrun was Frimley Lodge, with 374 runs there and lots of my parkrun friends run there. But my closest and new home parkrun is now Sandhurst where lots of my running club friends run and volunteer. |
