Oh no! How will I contain my excitement? My grass-cam is being set up and I am having to make sure that I take at least a picture every 24 hours or else I may miss some growth of the blades of grass. Sneaky stuff this grass it is keeping me on my toes!

One of my schoolfriends landed a job watching paint dry - down a microscope. He was a chemist at an ICI research lab and apparently different pigments change the rate of the evaporation of the solvent and the rate at which the paint surface polymerizes and so on.

I've been painting a bench. It is on it's third day. Just the second coat on the front legs to do. The second coat of the bulk of the front-facing/ seat parts is currently drying. The underside and back can probably be left with a single coat.
