Iirc the bottom of the curve is around sixteen units a week, which a bit to the right of where our survey says. Roughly a pint of beer or a medium glass of wine daily. Possibly in America it's different due to the vastly increased risk of death by firearm.

I'd rather be a 90 year old like my F-i-L who is still living independently and running his own life, albeit with a little help now and then. Unfortunately I don't inherit any of his genes!
