I finally got my hands on a BSA Meteor .22 air rifle with excellent telescopic sights. I killed very, very many Coke cans with that thing. I went hunting with it once but didn't enjoy it much. I kept missing deliberately much to the disgust of the gamekeeper. "Och, come on, Richard!"

Eldest is a good shot and was quite keen on shooting little metal targets at the local club for a while - I’m not sure why there are three though. I’m looking after them for him now he’s moved out. Tempted to join the local club myself.
