Bucks the trend, I was allowed a cap gun - but then my parents both grew up in houses that would have had an anti-rabbit gun in.

I didn't have a cap gun but I had a die cast metal aeroplane. The propeller/nose was attached by an elastic band and the cap was slotted between the two sections. If you threw it to the floor with enough force, the cap banged.

Thank you GM! I was trying to work out how to describe one of those. Mind, I had a succession of cap pistols too. šŸ˜

Went for my over 50 flu jab today - they were fast tracking the over 65s! Discrimination, I cry! (I stood in what felt like a long queue in the cold whilst waiting.)

Iā€™m pretty sure I had a cap gun. I also had action men, and my brother had a dolls house. My parents were pretty progressive considering this was Yorkshire in the 70sā€¦.
