A fortnight back, I picked up a pair of "ON Cloudrunner" running shoes (dark blue and light blue) from TK Maxx. They were only £29.99. I did some miles in them and was super-impressed.

So, I ordered some "ON Cloudster" (silver grey and light blue) from TK Maxx online for the same price.

From what I've read, "Cloudrunner" are for 5-6 mins per km training, whereas "Cloudster" are for 4-5 mins per km running.

Anyone else tried these Swiss shoes. If yes, what do you think.

I haven't tried them but will admit to sounding intrigued.
Especially as there is a TK Maxx opposite work

Have they got holes in them lol? Well, yes, in a manner of speaking. The heel is supported by four clouds and the midfoot/forefoot by nine clouds. Impossible to describe. Google photos.

TK Maxx calls them "QC", but the manufacturer is actually "ON"

oi you
4 min/km - I'm getting some. That'd be PBs from 5k upwards.

What happens if you don't run at the correct pace? How do the shoes know?

Here's a review from Athletics Weekly that slightly answers that

Article says

"Are these shoes for elite athletes? Probably not. After all, it states on the box that they are designed for runners who propel themselves along the pavements and roads as well as some off-road jaunts at a sedate 8-9:30mile – in fact, most of the not-so-serious running population."

Hmmm - sedate 8 -9:30mm and not so serious population???? 8mm would not feel sedate to me and would make me VERY Serious

The "Cloudrunner" are for 5-6 mins per kilometre, which is 10kph to 12kph, but I've had them up to 15kph with no issues.

I guess that it is just a guide.
