Because I was holding out for regular Olympics tickets :0/ Having spent most of the weekend waiting"15 minutes or longer" only to be told there are no tickets available I've given up on that idea.

you just watch the heptathlon events that are in your session, scott. it always works that way at athletics meets. it's the same with qualifying rounds/semis/finals etc. so we saw jess do her shot put and 200m and rutherford and tomlinson qualify for the long jump finals but watched the rest of the heptathlon and the long jump finals on the tv. that's why evening sessions tend to be more popular as there tends to be more finals in them.

I reakon there will be a loan of Fetchies going, I think Binks was talking about it on Facebook. We should see if we can get a group discount ;-) Who gets to be the group organiser with the umbrella held aloft?

I'm going on Sunday to watch the men's marathon......not sure why they have events before and after opening and closing ceremonies though.
