Good luck Cloggy! If there was a gold for hours spent on that site, I'd get it..

Off to the stadium tomorrow. Got the tickets in the ballot, they were about 50 quid so I think we will be a long way up, but I am very excited to see the park, watch the tri and track cycling on the big screen and then get inside the stadium :-)

I didn't realise the tickets for the atletics stadium only allow a certain part of the sports in there. Was watching the discus this morning and when it finished, the loud speakers were telling everyone to leave as the session was over. I assumed you paid to get in an could watch everything that day.

I hate to think how much they would have charged for a single, all-day ticket. Would have been beyond the reach of most people and tbh it would be difficult glueing people's backsides to a seat for an entire day. Much more financially viable for the organisers and Joe Average ...... though I agree that the cost of some tickets would justify all day and a guided tour of the dressing rooms!

How did the tickets work for the heptathlon at the weekend as it was over 2 days and had morning, afternoon and evening events? 3 tickets per day?

FFS now there is nothing showing for the Paralympics either, althletics anyway. There were loads last week *frown*

I think I am just going to resign myself to the fact it's no Olympics tickets for me until 2016 (can I put my name down for the ballot on those now please?)

So, who's going? I think we might try and get to the aquatic park, or the velodrome.
