Well, I missed out but I live in Newham and there are free places up for grabs. I've applied - just waiting now to hear if I have one. Not too worried as I did it last year but it would be nice to go and do it and beat last year's time :)

It will be difficult to say what this years course is like because last year we were running around a building site :-) From memory the odd 'hill' and quiet twisty with a fab finish.

The main thing I remember is that the track felt like you were floating. Can't wait to go back :-)

I think it will be like a building site this year too as they are in the process of dismantling buildings etc.

The track is lovely.

I hope I get a place so that I can do the course justice this time :) Wonder if its going to be a yearly event now?

I'm beyond excited!

I hadn't really thought about peebeeing, I was just thinking about taking it easy but now the thought of a PB in a race that ends on that lovely bouncy track is a little bit appealing :-)

5 miles is my favourite distance to run - we have a great Friday evening series of 5 mile races in the here is Suffolk and they are my favourite events :-)

This one was my first ever 5 miler last year. I've done one more since then and pb'd. I'm doing another one next month and hopefully will pb then. If I don't pb at this one I'll be eating my running shoes! lol
