Well, I missed out but I live in Newham and there are free places up for grabs. I've applied - just waiting now to hear if I have one. Not too worried as I did it last year but it would be nice to go and do it and beat last year's time

It will be difficult to say what this years course is like because last year we were running around a building site From memory the odd 'hill' and quiet twisty with a fab finish. The main thing I remember is that the track felt like you were floating. Can't wait to go back |

I think it will be like a building site this year too as they are in the process of dismantling buildings etc. The track is lovely. I hope I get a place so that I can do the course justice this time Wonder if its going to be a yearly event now? |

I'm beyond excited! I hadn't really thought about peebeeing, I was just thinking about taking it easy but now the thought of a PB in a race that ends on that lovely bouncy track is a little bit appealing 5 miles is my favourite distance to run - we have a great Friday evening series of 5 mile races in the here is Suffolk and they are my favourite events |

This one was my first ever 5 miler last year. I've done one more since then and pb'd. I'm doing another one next month and hopefully will pb then. If I don't pb at this one I'll be eating my running shoes! lol
