I think I'm looking forward to this - if somewhat nervous.

I hope that your foot behaves too :) and that the wind dies down a bit

I have a place going spare due to injury if you know anyone that wants it!

I'm looking forward to it too, if only to shave a bit off my time 3 years ago when I last did it. More mentally prepared for 20 miles on undulating roads now too, and I'm not going to experiment with race fuelling at 16 miles in, causing me to hurl shortly after finishing!!

Oh and it's one of the best-organised races ever, but I would say that since it's my club!

I was looking forwards to it. Less so now since picking up an achilles injury :-(

Ouch. Are you still going to do it, Flanker, or are you going to have done with it and do a DNS?

Should be better than last years...after cancellation of Oakley I did a ridiculous run locally in about a foot of snow, at times wading through drifts that were right across the narrow lanes.

Looking forward to it.

Did 2:24 at the Spitfire 20 last weekend, and have had a big training week this week, so undecided whether to go balls out (PB for distance is 2:21, think I could do 2:23 ish in current shape) or take a steadier effort with maybe last 3 or 5 miles full on.

Either way it's a great race, love it.

Wow, 2.21. I can only dream of that! I'll be happy if I get under 3 hours!

Anybody raced this before?

What's the course profile like?

Is it tougher than the Bury 20?
