Well, after yesterdays long run, I'll be lucky if I finish in 2hr30! So much for 2hr10!! Might readjust my target to 2hr15. If its hot like yesterday I have no hope either!

We'll have to look out for one another on the day as it sounds like we are similar times. I'll let you know closer to the time what i'm wearing, I can't decide whether to treat myself to a fetch top and if so, short sleeves or vest, decisions, decisions.................

I have been pondering the same thing! Would be good to have someone to run with.

Just had a peek at the website. I must admit, this fits in with my training for a marathon at the end of September and I'm a bit tempted....

How are we all doing? Only 2 weeks to go.

I'm off out on my last long long run tomorrow, really want to do the full distance just once to overcome a mental hurdle. Then an 8 miler next week and that's it!!!!

I have Race for Life on the 1st July so when I went into the race section, it said " you have 8 days till your next race" and i nearly pooped myself. Kinda keep forgetting about that one LOL

Well done! I've not been for a run for over a week now. Stressful life has got in the way. Planning a 14 mile at some point this week and then a few 8 miles between now and then. Hoping that the hardwork I put into the training plan up until this week will payoff and this blip won't hurt it too much.

I'm sure you'll be fine Mave, your fitness won't just up and go.

Broke the demotivation barrier last night with a fast 3 miles. Hope to build back up from there this week to then taper next week. We'll see!
