Bit nervous about this now. Training really tailed off over the last couple of weeks, don't feel particularly ready. Least it looks like it won't be hot and sunny!

Good luck Sunday! I'll prob wear bright blue shorts & a White T shirt if you keep an eye out. Looks like I'll also have to throw on my bright pink jacket too to keep a but warmer. Wish I owned a less fluorescent jacket!

Well done Mave..........Sorry i didn't get a chance to see you today, i didn't know my arrival plans until last minute. I was very impressed with the race today, thought it was very organised on the course and well marshalled. The only thing that got me was the water station being at almost 7 miles instead of 6 as i'd promised myself a slow down at the water station and had to do an extra mile :)

I got annoyed at the 1 mile to go marker before the 12 mile marker. Guess whoever got the instruction to put it at .1 mile past 12 put it in the wrong direction. I though I must have missed the 12 and upped the pace only to flail when I saw the actual 12!

But overall, I thought it was a great race. Well organised and marshalled. Results available crazy quick.

After another good Milton Keynes Half Marathon yesterday morning (different route) I have decided to sign up for this one again. Anybody else?

Neither did I but I was still only four seconds off my personal best which I ran in Milton Keynes on a flat course almsot 4 years ago when I was still in the sub 40 age category!

Got something to say?
