Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch
or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

Cheers for the heads up on the wind situ. :) I vote for a calm one this year!

I'm fortunate to have friends who live close to the race so I'm heading down and making a weekend of it. Should be a good one.

Monsenb, hope you found someone, or the organisers were able to give it to someone on the waiting list.

I'm getting all excited. :-)

Me too, SpicedApple :) 21 years since I first ran this: 'twas called the Phoenix Phourteen and the busses to Beadnell were bog standard double deckers :-o

I expect some of the buses are the same. A local firm runs the old ones with no doors - open to the elements. We used them to get to the start of our social run at New Year over this course. I expect your journey may be a tad warmer than ours was in January. :-)

Looks like it's gonna be a wet one tomorrow! To be honest I wouldn't mind a bit of rain if it helps keep the temperature down a bit. Really looking forward to it now. Have a good run everyone. :)
