Hehe, DD, you're such a charmer.
Scribbler, will be good to see you again! And meet all those new Fetchies I've been hoping to meet for ages!

Cheers for the heads up on the wind situ. I vote for a calm one this year!
I'm fortunate to have friends who live close to the race so I'm heading down and making a weekend of it. Should be a good one.

Monsenb, hope you found someone, or the organisers were able to give it to someone on the waiting list.
I'm getting all excited.

Me too, SpicedApple 21 years since I first ran this: 'twas called the Phoenix Phourteen and the busses to Beadnell were bog standard double deckers

I expect some of the buses are the same. A local firm runs the old ones with no doors - open to the elements. We used them to get to the start of our social run at New Year over this course. I expect your journey may be a tad warmer than ours was in January.

Looks like it's gonna be a wet one tomorrow! To be honest I wouldn't mind a bit of rain if it helps keep the temperature down a bit. Really looking forward to it now. Have a good run everyone.
