lol, I was just wondering who it was cos I was using you as a rabbit to chase for a good bit of the race. Good to put a name to "unknown fetchie in the distance". ![]() |

she runs for cake
How's everyone faring after Sunday? It's been strangely reassuring reading how tough everyone else found it! My left calf is still sore! I'm off to Start at lunchtime to get some compression socks to try. They will look stunning with my work outfit this afternoon ![]() |

Morning. Nice to meet a few of you on Sunday. Fat Cat, less jokes about the Championship top if you please ![]() Recovered quite well myself and surprised to learn I somehow ran it faster than last year which definitely didn't seem to be the case. Maybe suffering from Nausea for the last 8 miles made me run quicker! |

got back to the poash home counties yesterday, and uploaded my photos, taken on the run down the coast, to my website at richk.co.uk *borrowed* one from Lisrun, thanks ![]() I loved this run . . what a beautiful course ![]() it did get tough on that final beach section . . I'd like to say that I cut through the wind towards the finish like a knife through butter but I'd be lying . . the wind, and the perspective being out of whack on the beach so you can't really tell how far it is to the finish, made that last section a challenge but I loved it and was disappointed when the race ended coz I was enjoying it . . as always it was lovely to see familiar faces and to meet some folk for the first time too . . hope you're ankle's on the mend, Hippy click . . I'll come back and do this again sometime although next year I may do the Chevvy Chase instead . . will have to see how the dates work out ![]() |
