Rowdy? Fetchies? Shirley not I'm driving up from Wakefield at v. silly o'clock to catch the bus to Alnmouth. However, I've a day off Monday, so in no rush to head back to Yorkshire afterwards. When I last ran this in 2000, the presentation was at the pub nearest the beach and was crammed with people Looking forward already!

Trail shoes with light tread for me, tho' I've run it in road shoes in the past without a problem. Feet get wet v. early, so I wouldn't wear your Sunday best shoes

Our running club are eating at Piccolinos Italian in Alnwick Saturday night. We ate there last year - great palce with a slightly crazy proprietor which makes the evening more interesting!

I was wondering about the shoe question myself - think I might ditch the snakeskin stilettos and go with the trail shoes instead. Trouble is, for me wet feet = blisters, usually
That restaurant sounds good, wend - do you think they'd be able to accommodate a few extra Fetchies on Saturday night? Anyone had any brilliant ideas about where to go on Sunday pm after the race?
