Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

45mph winds and actual buckets of rain forecast at 9am tomorrow here - I don't think I'll be coming along with the Bean. Will have a cuddle in bed and watch Hannah Montana instead.

Weather Warning:

"Heavy rain has now moved in across south-western parts of England, Wales and Ireland and this will continue into the evening. Rainfall totals of up to 2 inches (50mm) could fall in these areas during this evening. This rain will then move north and east to affect many areas during Friday night before clearer weather follows from the southwest.

Winds are now strengthening along southern counties of England, and later tonight and into tomorrow morning, severe south-westerly gales gusting up to 80mph look set to develop across many southern coastal counties of England and Wales. Widespread gales will develop across inland areas of southern England too, with gusts of up to 65mph likely.

These conditions will result in hazardous travelling conditions, and some localised flooding may occur in areas where the land is saturated after recent rainfall. In addition, some damage to buildings and trees may occur in the worst of the severe gales. "

Yep, I'm staying at home!
