having failed at Picnic, I am thinking I should prepare for this one. But how to train for hills when you live in East Anglia? |

Find some tower blocks in Bedford, or Luton. Or share the petrol money with me for a trip to Wales/Peak District/Lake District/South Downs/anywhere else than East Anglia. I was once in the Romney Marsh Mountain Rescue Team. They was 'ard. |

it was tough. Don't know what the total ascent/descent was, but somewhere around 6000' I reckon. Made worse by mud mud mud, lots of folk slip sliding away on the uphills, struggling to crawl just to get traction. Fortunately my inov8s did the trick. zimbio.com |
