have we all headed south?

I've got my start sheet for the first time trial of the year. I hope this weather improves, going to be wet and cold riding round there.

I got my Blyth 10k number this week. Also in for Sand Dancer 10k, NT 10k in April and sent our cheque off for the Pier to Pier in May.

Hi everyone.

Is anyone doing the Northumberland Half Marathon on the 27th March? I was wondering if anyone knew what the course would be like?

I cycle the course often and I supect that for running it will be tough. A few hills. a downhill start, then a pull from the second left hand junction up to the right hander, steepish pull after Middleton, small hill through Hartburn, undulating witlh one steepish pull to scots gap and then undulating after right hander until the last left hand and then a hard long pull up to Cambo, then downhill to finish.

nice scenic course, good luck and enjoy.

used mapmyrun to produce this http://www.fetcheveryone.com/gallery-showphoto.php?filename=22949_46857.jpg&ref=gallery which shows elevation, cant swear how accurate the elevation calculation is or how close I got to the actual course, just worked roughly from the race map on PL's link

yep banjo that looks about right, but in reallity there are some heavy short pulls, however what I see as easy on a bike does not equate to running. but from mile 8 onwards it's rolling up hill to cambo. definately not PB course.
