Melar remembered your suggestion of Fetch colours previously and was thinking along those lines am going to make some suede topped sandals and if they arent as slippy in rain may have technicolour tootsies regardless of weather

I've just been e-mailed by a runner about the Sunderland City 10K. A BBC Wear web page at news.bbc.co.uk says that the Sunderland City 10K "will take place round the city's most iconic landmarks, starting and finishing at Sunderland AFC's Stadium of Light" and that it will have more details about the race on Wednesday (March 9th). A Sunderland Echo web page at sunderlandecho.com says that Steve Cram (Sunderland University chancellor) will launch the event tomorrow at the National Glass Centre. Iit says that the "race founder Steve will welcome guests before explaining his inspiration to create the event". A runbritain.com web page at runbritain.com gives an entry fee of 22/24 pounds and has a URL of www.sunderlandcity10K.com but doesn't seem to be there yet. |

£22 for a midweek 10k seems a bit steep to me.

funnily enough, not everything Steve Cram organises is ridiculously expensive, Kielder marathon this year is £15 cheaper than Liverpool marathon on the same day.
