As barry has his excellent website for all NE races, I will only post up on the header races fetchies are in, so post me your races for March please. run, bike, tri or swim.

got an email for this years great north 10K...new route:

"the event will start outside Gateshead International Stadium on the Felling Bypass which is sure to provide an electric atmosphere on the start line.

The route will pass notable landmarks such as the BALTIC Centre for Contemporary Art, the Sage, Gateshead Millennium Bridge, Tyne Bridge, then follows the river west passing the residential developments at the old Garden Festival site.

Runners will then return with a climb through Gateshead Town Centre past the Civic Centre before finishing in the Stadium"

22 quid a pop by the way..
on the same day as the costal run..I know what Id rather be doing on that day.. ;)

Blyth 10k for me. Though quite a few from the club are travelling up to do the Dunbar 10k the day before.
