I, the guy who runs the resolution and all terrain events nearly always takes entries on the day and raises loads for charity . I think water aid for africa is one off his favoured charities. great bloke . supposedly clear skies and cold for sunderland christmas eve parkrun and newcastle christmas day parkrun. :-)

DD lisrun and I ran past yours on the lanchester line coming back from stanley . depends on how compact it was but still quite tough in the snow . glad the calf held up .

Shopping and running update.
Ran the 3 miles down the road...bit of a struggle as snow was ....well.......not easy to run on (shock!). got few small itrems stuffed in backpack. had coffee. Couldn't face run back in the snow -by now coming from the sky so met up with mrs Slug and the slugmobile for another coffee and lift home!

I'm really getting into running to the shops doing shop & sometimes running back again. Gets the run & shopping done in one - great multi-tasking :)

Monsen, get yourself to a park run. they are brilliant.....Will be at the Toon on new years day (weather permitting) and hopefully kick my running back into order :-)
