(I think I'd get a 25 minute mile!) I tried to find the 10k bit on the council website and failed. I blame our mayor  I'll have another rootle round and see if I can find it...

the link to the entry form still seems to work so I would guess they are still taking entries: northtyneside.gov.uk there's still plenty of time to get ready for it SRFC - go on, give it a go

you'll be fine at the tri scribbler, it's a great one for beginners and you'll have loads of support from spectators and competitors alike. The swim is only 400 yards, the bike only has one hill on each lap and the run is totally flat |

Just checked and nowt on that weekend at the mo . I might do the 10K and that tri as well.

Oh I'm looking forward to the tri and I'll support the NT10k, just sad because it was my first ever race. But hey - that's an excuse to find some new 10ks next year
