Hello, :-)

Last weeks Sunderland Parkrun was in aid of Acorns childrens charity. It was a pity but the compacted snow and ice made it impossible for the organisers to let it go ahead safely . That didn't stop everyone faking a start for ITV and most having a nice run round on the grassy bits and raise a couple hundred quid. but more would be nice so this week , weather permitting we are all doing it again.

It's off at the usual time of 9am so why not warm up with this one then have a a nice energy snack (full big breakfast @ 2:99 (not compulsary) ) up snack and strong booster coffee at sainsburys before getting gove to Gateshead (Plenty of time for the 12:30 Kick off) and blasting that 10k PB up the Joicey Road hill ( x3 lol ) @ saltwelll 10K.

From Sunderland Parkrun facebook :

Embrace the festive spirit this December & run, jog or walk the Festive Fun Run.

Pull on your favourite festive fancy dress, get involved & support Acorns Children’s Hospice

Minimum recomended donation of £1 per runner. (All proceeds go to Acorns Children’s Hospice Registered charity no. 700859)

We’re Friendly!!

Meet us opposite the Sunderland Tennis Centre Entrance at the start & join us for a coffee afterwards

Tell Friends & bring the family!

Flip, that's pretty hard-core. Using parkrun to warm up for the Saltwell 10K! I'll need all my energy to tackle the inclines!
