Stu, check the link for The Mighty Deerstalker. Not quite a North East race, it's in the Borders, near Peebles/Glentress

I dont think I'd fancy the Mighty Deerstalker, I may need led in gently so The Deerstalker sounds do-able to me. I'm also not keen on camping (getting warm after Hell Runner was bad enough & I got home & showered fairly quickly) But 4 of us could fit into a car (well ok not into my car but I could work around that) so if a few of us fancied it we could car share & drive back or at least to civilisation and warmth of a hotel/B&B? |
