Our club have received the following email

Sent: Friday, November 26, 2010 4:07 PM
Subject: NE Harrier League: Blaydon XC, 27th November 2010

Dear Club Secretary and Official

I write to advise that there has been an inspection of the course at Blaydon earlier this afternoon and, at present, tomorrow’s meeting is planned to go ahead as scheduled.

There will be another inspection early tomorrow morning and I will advise further when I receive the update in the morning from Bill Courtney (Course Director). If you or your members are uncertain of whether the meeting will go ahead in the morning, you/they can also telephone me on 07980 927914 from around 10.30am (when I arrive at the course HQ).

I hope you find this useful.

I've received an e-mail saying that the Hartlepool Marina 5 is listed in the 2011 section of the list of events provided by the North East Veterans Athletics Club (http://www.communigate.co.uk/ne/northeastveteransathleticsclub/page6.phtml). I don't know whether this is a guess or whether it is authoritative.

Hmmmmmmm ... not looking hopeful for xc, if our snow is anything to go by. I don't think I'll be getting out of the street. 8 inches of snow at least here!

Mick A1 closed again and Bamburgh was seriously hit on Friday, so unless you live there I would not travel.

The web page www.chin-up-charity.org.uk says that tomorrow's CHIN-UP Santa Run at Seahouses is cancelled.
