It looks like it's probably the same route as the Town Moor 10k. If so it's 2 laps of a fast flat route. Not the most inspiring run ever but I enjoyed it last year. It can be a bit of a bugger for wind but I still managed a sneaky PB last year as it is super flat

Thank sLisa. I have done Newcastle parkrun a lot of times. Was wondering if it was the same sort of route or whether it included the hill! I think I might give it a go.

I don't think they are taking registrations on the day from local teams anymore not sure about guests so probably worth contacting them before hand if you fancy doing it

Thanks Anna. I think my Mum had lunch in town planned post parkrun so I might have to give the X-C a miss - the hills may have to wait until another time
