activenewcastle.co.uk And there are still some places for the Exhibition Park Cup, formerly Elswick Cup... There is a fair on the town moor but all of the race route is clear. Enter online or on the day - registration and baggage are in the cafe (the usually closed building between the playgrounds). 10a.m start so get there early to register, warm-up... you've possibly been in a race before and know this  And yes it's chip-timed. |

Et tu, Susie?! Good to see many of the usual suspects at the Durham relays. TBH won twice, MVets and MSeniors. No thanks to me, just ran down to watch and (luckily) wasn't needed as a substitute. One of our winning vets was stung on the knee, mid-race, by what must have been a trained "attack bee" from another club. Didn't stop him though. Ha! |

....and so tomorrow afternoon it's the xc relays at Farringdon. Was thinking only yesterday that ordinary trainers would be fine, but it started raining last night and hasn't stopped yet.....
