There's Blyth 10k as well next weekend. I'll be sorry to miss Hartlepool, but want another blast at 10k before I give them up fir the swimming, biking, running thing.

MeLAR, that would be a good idea. northeastraces is just quoting from the entry form which says that entries on the day are two pounds extra. The entry form is at hartlepoolburnroad.co.uk It has both an e-mail address and a mobile number. It also says "Race Entry Limit of 500 - Apply Early to Secure Your Place!". Last year there were 383 finishers. However, obviously it all depends on how many entrants they already have. Another obvious thing: if they do have places left, it's best to arrive early on the day. If you do contact them, ask them what time registration opens and where it is. |
