Thanks for the directions to the rising sun race . I'll park at asda and trot along as a warm up
I could be game for a 1 mile run too. Never ran a mile so a guaranteed pb !

Is there a Fetch mile in the offing? Sounds good. I was going to ask if anyone was up for a friendly run/race around the forthcoming bank holiday bonanza - 28 April - 2 May? Maybe a Rendezvous Run? A quayside 10k? Or perhaps something South of the Tyne for a change?

28th April is being suggested for the mile, may be able to fit a rendezvous run in as well but in the lakes as well that weekend

Hi all,

I am having to admit defeat on the North Tyneside 10k on Sunday (devastated is an understatement) so I have a spare number if anyone wants it... If theres a rendevous I might pop along for cake and coffee (depending on whats happening with family commitments)

geordieG , i'm going to be there anyway . if no one takes it i may run slow around the course but i'll leave it for someone who may wish to race it. I'm sure we can find somewhere after but we may want a cold drink as it will be warm and sunny with a slight cooling breeze. :-)
