I feel a grudging admiration at this display of such unashamed stupidity. But... :-0 again.

Exhibit B: metro.co.uk

This is happening and we're all just going to have to deal with it.

Are we all in it together?

Is Faringdon in the Prime Minister's constituency?

Hmm, Faringdon has around 6000 inhabitants. I can't quite see the attraction to Waitrose. Although...

I live in a small crap town with two mid-sized supermarkets. If our town-centre ever gets its much needed rebulldozing, we whould be getting another supermarket. Pesronally, I would love a Waitrose, it would act as a magnet store, provide genuine choice and possibly revitalise the whole town.

I think it is a bit extremely unlikely, though.

That Tesco v Waitrose 'class war' story is one below 'Beware the dangers of ticks' in the 'top stories' section. And top is 'Men fall over in nightclub'. Is this is a real place or some sort of blissfully quiet Matrix reality?

Maybe Leanne Hutt can rearrange the herb aisle at Waitrose to make it a little more chavtastic

I would love a Waitrose shop in our town.
We have not 1, not 2, not 3 but 4!!!! Yes 4 Tesco's in our small town, plus an expanding Saisburys, 2 Morrisons, 1 Netto, 2 Lidl's. We have plenty of choice
