Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I appreciate its hard to give advice on a thread regarding injuries but any tips would be great. My left knee is quite niggly. While running its the knee cap area or sometimes feels like its pulling above the knee. Can't see any visible swelling and nothing hurts to touch. It's not stopping me running bit worry it might. Had this for about 6 weeks now. Not a great description but any ideas how to resolve this
Thanks

I've had similar and it was disgnosed as patellofemoral/runners knee. Had pain under kneecap and just above the knee but no swelling. Saw a good physio who gave me a core and glute exercise programme with a specific emphasis on training the glute to activate when my foot hits the floor as I had become very quad dominant after increasing cycling. It is gradually improving.

I should go and see a physio really. I was leaning towards thinking it was something like that

Might be a daft question but do you need new trainers? Knee niggles are usually the sign that mine need replacing.

I replace my shoes regular. However I do use I lightweight shoe so today have got some 'normal' support shoes to see if that makes a difference
