Must admit I've never actually read all the categories until now - just realised I've been using the wrong ones, all my runs should be "Run - Carrying Weight" to take account of the spare tyre.......

I quite liked "X-Train - Rest" Eh ? So some people are logging a workout to say they never did anything, lol. Why not just leave a blank entry that day ?

K5, think it's to help with detailed training plans - so you can put Rest in the plan for a day to remind you not to go running, and see it afterwards and know that you didn't just forget to log whatever you did that day.
